On May 28-29 Kendo, Iaido, and Jodo Federation of Ukraine has organized a seminar under guidance of its president Godai Hiroki sensei, 3 dan kendo. And despite format of the seminar that presumed participation of clubs members and partners of the Federation, it had undoubtedly the status of International seminar!
Besides kendokas from Ukrainian clubs of Kyiv, Odessa, Mukachevo, and Lviv, the seminar was attended by guests of Ukraine – kendokas from Minsk, the capital of Belarus; they even took part in Kyiv Kendo Federation training before the seminar.

The program of two-day seminar included theory and principles of kendo etiquette, work on basic kendo techniques, Kihon Bokuto Kendo Waza kata, and theory and practice of refereeing. Kendo novices that still practice without bogu were not left without attention as well. They also had a special program.

Both days of the seminar were finished with jigeiko.
